Description

This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 20 May 2022 to update the name and address and to reformat the text to current standards SK 3871 SW 1/7 Chesterfield HIGH STREET (North Side) No 10 (Formerly listed as No 10 (J B White and Sons G F Partington Dental Surgeon)) 15.7.71 II Late C18/early C19. Red brick facade with moulded eaves cornice. Roof not visible. Three storeys. Three windows all with stuccoed lintels, sashes first floor with late C19 glazing, second floor with glazing bars but adapted opening top light. Ground floor has early C19 shop front with Corinthian pilasters and elaborate entablature with modillion cornice and letter frieze. Modern reproduction shop windows with glazing bars and central entrance. Round arched doorway to west with cobweb fanlight. Segmental arched carriageway entrance to east. Long rear wing.
