Description

DUNSTON ROAD 1. 5169 (South Side) Dunston Range of brick buildings to west of Dunston Hall SK 37 SE 13/217 II GV 2. Medisaeval and later. Now clad in red brick and with slate roofs. North end of range projects to east to form a 2 storey cottage. 1 window casements,the ground floor with Gothic arched glazing bars. North-south range of stables and associated buildings with lofts above. The southern part has 2 pairs of massive crucks visible forming the northern bay of a cruck building aof at least 2 bays which continues into the cowsheds of Dunston Hall Farm (qv). Listing NGR: SK3650074575
