Description

This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 10 May 2022 to update text and reformat to current standards SK 37 SE 13/217 Dunston DUNSTON ROAD (South Side) Range of brick buildings to west of Dunston Hall GV II Medieval and later. Now clad in red brick and with slate roofs. North end of range projects to east to form a two storey cottage. One window casements, the ground floor with Gothic arched glazing bars. North-south range of stables and associated buildings with lofts above. The southern part has two pairs of massive crucks visible forming the northern bay of a cruck building of at least two bays which continues into the cowsheds of Dunston Hall Farm (qv). Listing NGR: SK3651774541
