'ABERCROMBIE STREET 1. 5169 (North Side) No 28 (Ashton Lodge) SK 3871 NW 5/161 II GV
2. Circa 1840. Ashlar with quoins and band at 1st floor. Hipped slate roof with wide eaves. 2 storeys. 2 windows unbarred sashes 1st floor. Ground floor has stone bays with cornice and parapet, centre French casements otherwise plain glazing. Facade to Abercrombie Street has door with rectangular fanlight, doorcase now missing. Included for group value in reltation to the group of buildings at entrance to Abercrombie Street.
