Description

Farmhouse. C17, early C18, with C20 alterations. Coursed squared sandstone with sandstone dressings and quoins. Hipped and gabled Welsh slate roof. Brick gable and lateral stacks. Stone coped gables with plan kneelers. 2 storeys. South elevation of 4 symmetrical bays. Central doorway with plain ashlar surround with moulded dripmould, and panelled door. Flanked on each side by two C19 casement windows in plain C18 ashlar surrounds with continuous lintel band. Four similar windows above. The east elevation is of 4 irregular bays. Off-centre doorway with a segmental arch within a moulded square frame. Keystone and panelled door. To the left is a single light recessed and chamfered mullioned window. To the right is a 2-light recessed and chamfered mullion window, and a C20 2-light case- ment set in a plain ashlar surround. Three 2-light recessed and chamfered mullioned windows above, the right hand one without its mullion. Listing NGR: SK5017777713
