'SK 4771 TOWN OF OLD BOLSOVER TOWN END 16/109 (North Side) Nos 32 and 36 II
Pair of cottages and shop. C17, altered C19 and C20. Coursed squared limestone with ashlar dressings and quoins. Pantile roof with stone gable stack and brick ridge stack. Stone coped gable with moulded kneelers. Two storeys. L-plan. South elevation of two bays. C20 shopfront divided into three by stone piers. Two 2- light casements above. Gable end to west has the remains of two C17 2-light mullioned windows, both blocked. One to the basement and one to the first floor. Blocked single light window above again. Rear wing has a blind wall to east and irregular four bays to west, with sashes, Yorkshire sashes and 2-light casements. Two doorways under plain lintels. The interior has exposed beams and a raised cruck truss in the rear wing.
