'IRON GATE 1. 5170 (East Side) No 9 SK 3536 SW 1/149 II GV
2. Late C19. Gothic Style. Yellow brick with stone and red and blue brick dressings; 4 storeys; 3-light mullioned windows with pointed arched lights; floor bands; bands of red and blue brick; moulded eaves cornice; stone-coped gable. Modern shop front.
Nos 9 to 11 (consec), Nos 15 to 17 (consec) and the Cathedral Church of All Saints form a group with No 2 Amen Alley, No 1 Queen Street together with Nos 1 and 3 College Place and two posts at west end of College Place.
