Description

'SK 34 SE 1/73 PARISH OF LITTLE EATON VICARAGE LANE (North Side) Lychgate at Church of St Paul GV II Lychgate. c1920, built as a war memorial. Coursed squared gritstone and timber framing. Welsh slate roof. Square in plan. Gritstone walls to half height, surmounted by an openwork, gabled, timber framed structure. Pair of wooden gates to south. Metal panels inside inscribed with the names of those from Little Eaton who died in the two World Wars. Listed for group value only. Listing NGR: SK3610841488 This List entry has been amended to add sources for War Memorials Online and the War Memorials Register.
