'PARISH OF OCKBROOK CHURCH STREET SK 42 35 6/65 (West Side) Nos 61 and 63 (formerly listed as: THE RIDINGS (West Side) Nos 61 and 63 GV II Two houses, now one house and two flats. Late C18 and early C19 with C20 additions and alterations. Red brick with plain tile roofs, brick gable stack to west and two ridge stacks, plus dentilled eaves bands. Roof to No 63 also has C20 roof lights. Two storeys, plus garrets to No 63 and L-shaped plan. No 61 has a single bay and stands at right angles to No 63 which has three bays. No 61 has a 3-light segment headed window with leaded casements to south and a plain doorcase with moulded cornice to north, with original panelled door below a divided overlight. Above there is a similar window to that below. The adjoining gable wall of No 63 to north has similar windows to ground and first floors with a C20 garret window above. South elevation of No 63 has a 3-light glazing bar casement below segment head to west and a C20 door to east. Above, similar window to west and single light window over the door.
