Description
'PARISH OF RISLEY BREASTON LANE SK 43 NE 2/87 (East Side) Risleyhall Farmhouse 10.11.67 and Attached Barn II
Farmhouse and attached barn. 1806 with later alterations. House is of rendered brick and has a graduated slate roof, which is hipped to north side, with brick gable stack to south and large brick ridge stack to rear pitch of roof, also with dentilled eaves band. Barn is of coursed squared stone with flush quoins, plus red brick to top where eaves have been raised. Slate roof with dentilled eaves band above. House, three storeys and three bays. Central segment headed doorcase with C20 panelled door and plain overlight, flanked by segment headed windows with C20 2-light timber cross casement windows. Above, three similar windows and above again segment headed 2-light casements to either side of a blocked central opening. Barn has almost full height central opening with slit breathers to either side. Adjacent to south side is a boarded C19 pump. Interior of house has large central chamfered beams to ground floor rooms.
