Description

'SK 40 55 NE ALFRETON CHURCH STREET (north side) 8/12 No 12 19.3.75 GV II Lodge, now house. Early C19 with later alterations. Painted red brick with stone dressings. Hipped slate roof with wide eaves and brick ridge stacks. Two storeys and 2 bays. Central half glazed door flanked by C20 small pane casements, plus continuous band at lintel level which breaks to form a semicircular arch over each opening. Above, 2 similar C20 windows with projecting cills and plain lintels. Similar elevations to north and south. Originally built as a lodge to Alfreton Hall. Listing NGR: SK4079955817.' (1)
