'PARISH OF HORSLEY CHURCH STREET SK 34 SE 4/28 (South Side) Old Post Box opposite Horsley School II
Pillar box. 1869. Coursed squared Coxbench sandstone. Tall square pillar with large stone coping to top and small opening to east side, now covered by C20 plaque inscribed 'This unique pillar box was built in 1869 from Coxbench stone for the village of Horsley. It ceased to be used in 1887'.
