'DAYS LANE 1. 5167 (North Side) The Old King's Head Public House SK 3447 SE 1/86 II 2. Early C18 or earlier inn with later C18 rear wings. Original southern part of coursed stone with kneelers and coped gable ends. End and off centre chimneys. Two storeys. Four windows, casements with stone mullions and plain painted band-surrounds. Off centre door with large painted quoins. Western wing as 2 windows, sashes with glazing bars and painted band surrounds. Rear red brick 2 storey wing to north.
