Description
'ASHOVER SK3462 HOLLOW LANE 1264-0/12/61 Footbridge II Footbridge. Late C18. Ashlar gritstone, with splayed abutments and low square piers with shallow pyramidal caps. Shallow single segmental arch. The footbridge carries a trackway, which includes a raised embanked section, across the valley and the river Amber to the south-west of Ashover village and was the approach to one of the town's wells - the Old Woman's Well.
