WINGERWORTH SK36NE DERBY ROAD 1264-0/6/140 (East side) 02/02/94 Birdholme Farmhouse II Farmhouse. Early C19. Coursed squared Coal Measures Sandstone with ashlar dressings, coped gables with moulded kneelers, and ashlar gable and ridge stacks. Welsh slate roof. West elevation of L-shaped range 2 storeys and 3 bays. Symmetrical front, with a central doorway within a massive flush stone frame. 6-panelled door, with rectangular overlight with margin lights. Flanking the doorway are 8 x 8 glazing bar sashes within flush stone frames. At first-floor level there are 3 glazing bar sashes which match the ground floor examples. The rear range is of 3 bays, and is similarly detailed with glazing bar sash windows. Some ground-floor windows have been altered and now have C20 joinery. Listing NGR: SK3844168475
