Description
Range of shop units, formerly farm outbuilding. Early C17 with C18, C19 and C20 alterations. Coursed rubble coal measures sandstone with stone slates and Welsh slates. Single storey range with two bay three storey range at the east end. Single storey range with four shop fronts and four doors, and two small windows to the west end. The house to the east end has coped gables with moulded kneelers, a shop front and a doorway to the ground floor and single glazing bar sash windows beneath plain stone lintel above. The single storey range contains five cruck trusses, supporting a single purlin roof. The trusses retain some windbraces. The foot of one cruck truss and its supporting padstone is visible on the rear elevation.
