SK 25 NW PARISH OF ALDWARK 3/2 Ivy Cottage (formerly listed as cottage west of Lidgate Farmhouse) II
House. C17. Rubble limestone with dolomotic limestone dressings, quoins, plain gables, brick central ridge stack, plain tiled roof. Two storeys, two bays with stacked 2-light recessed chamfer-mullioned windows, ground floor openings taller than those above, all with side hung casements. Central doorway with heavy lintel obscured by C20 porch. Lean-to extensions to west end and to-eastern side of north elevation.
