SK 17 SW PARISH OF TADDINGTON PRIESTCLIFFE LANE 2/82 (South Side) Rose Farmhouse and iron railings

Farmhouse. Early C19. Rubble limestone with gritstone dressings painted blue. Welsh slate roof with one stone ridge stack and stone gable end stacks. Two storeys south east elevation of four bays. To the left a doorway with stone lintel and jambs and bracketed stone hood. C19 half glazed door. Flanked on each side by single light windows with square section flush. stone surrounds. Similar single light windows above divided from the lower ones by a transom. Doorway to the right with stone lintel and jambs and bracketed stone hood. C19 half glazed door. To the right again two 2-light square section flush mullion windows with two similar windows above. Iron railings along the south east front with intersecting ovals.
