SK 17 NE PARISH OF FOOLOW THE GREEN 3/74 (South Side) 29-9-51 The Manor House GV II
House. Early C19. Coursed limestone rubble with gritstone dressings and quoins. Stone coped gables with moulded kneelers. Two ridge and two gable end stone stacks. Two storeys, plus garrets, three bays by two bays. East facade has central C20 chamfered doorcase wild bracketed stone hood in traditional style. Double doors. To either side, glazing bar sashes in raised plain surrounds. Above, three similar. To north facade, two similar glazing bar sashes with blocked doorcase to west, now with glazing bar sash also. Above, two similar sashes. Above again, two smaller sashes closer together. Interior has several original fireplaces and plain banistered staircase.
