SK 16 SE PARISH OF HARTINGTON TOWN QUARTER BUXTON ROAD 8/107 (West Side) Newhaven Cottage GV II
Farmhouse. Early C19. Rendered stone with gritstone dressings. Hipped plain tile roof, with large brick stacks at either end of short ridge. Two storeys, three bays. East elevation - off-centre pointed doorcase with flush rendered surround. Porch to inner, studded, wooden door. To either side, 2-light cavettomoulded mullion window with cusped semi-circular heads set in flat topped surround. Above, two similar windows and similar single light window over door. North and south elevation also have similar 2-light windows. All fenestration small paned casements.
