SK 25 53 CARSINGTON BOTTOM LANE 6/64 (South Side) 13.9.57 Glebe House,(formerly listed GV Post Office called Glebe House ) II
House. C17 with C19 additions. Coursed gritstone rubble with gritstone dressings. Plain tile roof with stone ridge. Two gable end stacks, one brick. L-plan, two storeys, four bays with later gabled projection, incorporating C17, 3-light chamfered mullion window. Also side doorcase with C20 glazed door and string- course at first floor level. To east, three recessed and chamfered mullion windows, now all 2-light, formerly 3-light, 2-light and 4-light. Doorcase to extreme east with stone quoins and lintel. Above three recessed and chamfered mullion windows, two with iron glazing bar casements. To east of house, C19 single storey addition.
