Mid-late C19. Probably originally laid out by Paxton for William Allcard of Burton Closes (qv); likely to have been extended as the house became enlarged. A short section of wall across north end of house finishes at a flight of steps with a pair of Gothic Revival gates. Listing NGR: SK2206367638.'
