Description

'1. CROMFORD HILL 1390 CROMFORD Nos 82 and 84 SK 2856/2956 1/122 II GV 2. Two houses. Early-C19 (marked on 1841 Tithe Map), altered in the late-C19. Coursed rubble; tiled roof. Red and black brick ridge stacks. Similar to Arkwright phase I plan type, but of two and a half storeys. Each house of two window bays; entrance bays to right and left with no windows above. 2-light windows to all floors, those to upper half-storey with stone mullions and placed under small gables. C20 casements and doors. Two outshuts, one with stone surrounds; side door, panelled in pegged surround. Listing NGR: SK2923156546'.
