House now 2 houses. Late C17 altered C19 and C20. Coursed and rubble limestone with sandstone dressings; stone slate roof. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, 2-window range; former outshut to rear raised to 2 storeys in C19 and now under its own roof. Doorway to left of centre (into No.2) has C20 oak boarded door in original quoined opening. Renewed 4-light double-chamfered mullioned window to left has diamond-pane leaded lights; renewed 3-light window over in same style. House to right (No.1): cemented chamfered surround to a 4-light casement; 3-light casement above in quoined opening. Short central ridge stack; end stack on left is set to rear of ridge. Rear: No.2 has an original C17 3-light, double-chamfered mullioned window. INTERIOR: No.2: spine beam and oak common joists. Small C17 wall cupboard with lozenge motif. C17 single-light window in rear wall. Oak floorboards. Original roof timbers including a collar which indicates position of former smoke-hood against the central stack. No.1: transverse beam with deep chamfer; oak floorboards visible on first floor; joists likely to survive but not visible. Two C17 panelled doors in front ground-floor room.
