Description

'SK 21 76 PARISH OF EYAM CHURCH STREET 6/15 (South Side) Derwent Cottage and Derwent 12-7-67 House (formerly listed as 'Pair of houses SE of Rectory') GV II Pair of houses. Mid C18. Coursed squared gritstone with gritstone dressings and chamfered quoins. Stone slate roofs. Stone gable end stacks with plain banding. Stone coped gables with moulded kneelers. Each house two storeys Derwent Cottage to east has slightly off-centre doorcase with rusticated jambs semi-circular pedimental head. Raised and fielded panelled door, top two panels glazed. To either side, Venetian windows with raised keystones and imposts. Central glazing bar sashes with small pane side casements. Above, two similar windows. To west, Derwent House with identical elevation, except the door is C20 and the doorcase is painted. Listing NGR: SK2185776344.'
