'SK 17 SE PARISH OF GREAT LONGSTONE MAIN STREET 3/22 (South Side) White Lion GV II
Public house. Late C18. Coursed squared limestone with gritstone dressings. Cement tile roof with stone gable end stacks. Two storeys. Symmetrical north elevation of five bays. Central doorway reached by six stone steps. Doorway has stone surround with square section bead moulding and stone bracketed hood. Flanked on each side by broad tripartite windows, the central opening narrower. Single and two bar sashes. Five windows above with flush stepped stone surrounds and two bar sashes.
