Description

'This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 10 June 2022 to remove superfluous amendment details, and reformat the text to current standards SK 27 SW 3/5 PARISH OF CURBAR CLIFF LANE Cliff House (Formerly listed as Cliff Park) II House. Early C19. Ashlar gritstone with ashlar dressings, quoins, eaves cornice with shallow plain parapet above, hipped roof with ashlar side and end wall stacks, and concrete tiles. Three storeys, three bays with stacked sash frames, diminishing in height from ground to second floor, with plain band courses linking the cills, that to the ground floor stepping downwards around the deeper openings. Central doorway with moulded architrave and shallow bracketed hood, with a four panelled door, the upper two panes of which are glazed. Enclosing the doorway, a square open porch with Tuscan columns supporting a moulded projecting cornice and an open parapet with balustrade. Listing NGR: SK2487774004.'
