Description

'SK 16 SE PARISH OF ELTON WEST END 5/23 (South side) Stables to the West of the Duke of York Inn GV II Stables. C19. Coursed squared gritstone, with rusticated quoins, coped gables welsh slate roof, Single storey with overlofts, gable end to street. Two doorways with quoined surrounds, massive tooled lintels and flat stone hoods and flanked by single light openings generally with glazing bars. Tall wagon doorway at north end with cambered timber lintel and planked doors. Listed for group value only. Listing NGR: SK2216060946.'
