Description

'BAKEWELL SK2168 BAGSHAW HILL 831-1/4/8 (North side) 20/05/74 Yew Tree Cottage GV II House. Mid-late C18. Coursed limestone with ashlar sandstone dressings; concrete tile roof. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, single bay adjoining and under same roof line as Yew Tree House (qv). Lean-to to rear. Large quoins on left. 4-panel door in raised-edge architrave to right of a 3-light mullioned window in matching architrave: 8-pane casements and central 4/4 sash. First floor: paired 6/6 sashes in raised-edge architrave with stone centre mullion. Eaves band and cornice continued from Yew Tree House. Ashlar gable copings and brick end stack on left. Left return: blocked window openings indicate remodelling of a 2-storey-and-attic house. INTERIOR: not inspected. Listing NGR: SK2157968605.'
