'SK 28 SW PARISH OF HATHERSAGE 2/32 Leach House, attached cottage and outbuilding II
House with attached cottage and outbuilding, formerly an inn. Early C19. Regularly coursed gritstone with quoins, single coped gable to north west end, with moulded kneelers, and intermediate and end ashlar ridge stacks. Stone slated roof. Irregular plan, with advanced gabled bay to north west end, and two bay cottage at a different angle to the main range. House part; two storeys, three bays, with glazing bar sashes in flush stone frames. Central doorway with massive surround and four panelled door with two upper panels glazed. Cottage part; two storeys, two bays, one with quoined doorway and four panelled door, the other with a quoined double doorway with massive wide lintel above, and plain planked doors. First floor glazing bar sashes in flush surrounds. Outbuilding; two storeys, single bay, with single quoined doorway to north west elevation with shallow lintel and glazing bar sash above. Gable has single stone-framed opening to ground floor and taking-in doorway to first floor, both with boarded shutters.
