Description

'PARISH OF NEWTON SOLNEY MAIN STREET SK 22 NE 1/54 (South Side) 6-3-78 No 3 (The Croft) II (formerly listed as Croft House) House. Late C18. Red brick with plain tile roof and gable stacks. Three storeys. Dentil first and second floor bands and eaves cornice. North elevation of three bays has off-centre doorway with segment head and raised and fielded panelled door. C20 gabled hood. Flanked by C20 bow windows under segment heads. The first floor has a C20 single light window flanked by 3-light segment headed casements. Two 3-light casements under flat arches above again. Rear elevation has mostly C20 fenestration. Interior: stone chimneypiece of lintel on massive moulded brackets, cut away by modern fireplace below. Listing NGR: SK2817325633.'
