Description
House and shop. Late C16, altered in the C18 and C19. Coursed squared sandstone with sandstone dressings. Plain tile roof, stone coped gables with plain kneelers and central stack. Two storeys. Gable end to road has a C19 shop front and a C19 single bar sash above, in a moulded surround. The north elevation has a heavy plain first floor band interrupted by a change in floor levels. A single and a 2-light casement to the ground floor and a 2-light casement above. South elevation of three bays has a blocked doorway to left, then two C20 casements and a doorway with C20 door. Three glazing bar sashes above. Brick range to east not of special interest. The interior has exposed beams.
