Description
Cottage. Late C17, partly rebuilt in mid C20. Box timber framing on stone plinth, painted brick nogging and concrete tile roof with overhanging gable ends and central brick ridge stack. Two bays and single storey plus garrets. West elevation has C20 glazed door to north, under a bracketed porch roof. To south, two C20 glazing bar casements. All whole of this facade has been rebuilt in the C20. The gable walls are both original and have diagonal braces to the top corners with exposed queen post trusses above, each with a central casement window arid diagonal braces above the collars. C20 lean-tos to rear. Interior has one inglenook fireplace and chamfered beams.
