Description

Fragment of old parish church, c45 yards south of the chancel of the new church. c1300. Coursed squared sandstone and ashlar. The lower part of the east wall survives, with a complete 3-light window with intersecting tracery. Also the beginning of a return wall to the north west. This church was blown up c1840 when the new church was built to the north. Listing NGR: SK3516224052
