Description
Public house. Early C19. Painted red brick with painted stone dressings and rendered plinth. Plain tile roof with brick gable stacks and dentilled eaves band. Three storeys and three bays plus single storey bay to east. Steps up to a central segment headed doorcase with panelled door, in a raised brick surround, with a simple hood and bootscrapers to each side. To either side there are glazing bar sashes. Ground floor has a C20 plastic canopy across the full width. Above there are three similar sashes and above again to either side there are similar smaller sashes flanking a blocked central window. All windows have rusticated wedge lintels with raised keystones. Single storey bay to east has a full height segmental arch with double plank doors. Included for group value only.
