Description
'PARISH OF BRETBY THE GREEN SK 22 SE 2/9 (West Side) 2-12-85 Honeysuckle Cottage and Green View GV II Pair of cottages dated 1824, possibly by William Martin, estate architect to the Earls of Chesterfield. Orange brick, half-hipped plain tile roof with central brick ridge stack. Two storeys. Two bay front has to the ground floor two 3-light casement windows under flat arches, with gothic glazing bars and returned hoodmoulds. Two 2-light windows above under four-centred arches and with four-centred arched lights, set within shallow semi-circular half dormers. Datestone between. Decorative angle pilasters. Porches to side elevations with blind gothic arches and plain columns.
