Description
NEW MILLS EAVES KNOLL ROAD 1. 5172 (East Side) Eaves Knoll Farmhouse SJ 98 NE 2/58 and attached farm building II GV 2. C17 origins, later alterations. A double pile farmhouse of 2 storeys in coursed stone. Gable to front elevation has coped gable ends with kneelers. The projecting upper storey is rendered. Stone slate roof. 1 window with stone lintel and modern glazing above door in roughly rusticated chamfered surround. A small blocked chamfered light to the side of this gable. 1 window over 1, stone lintels, modern glazing to front elevation to side. Rear windows in chamfered stone surrounds. C19 door and porch to side. Attached farm building in coursed stone with Welsh slate roof has cart entry and blocked entry.
