'SK 28 SW PARISH OF BROUGH AND SHATTON SHATTON LANE 8/13 (North Side) 21.4.67 The Homestead & attached outbuildings II
House and outbuildings now all converted to house. C17 altered late C18. Rubble gritstone with gritstone dressings. Stone slate roof with one stone coped gable. One stone ridge stack and two gable end stacks. Two storeys. House part to east, former outbuildings attached to west and angled forward slightly. East part refronted late C18 with central doorway with chamfered stone surround and raised and fielded panelled door. Flanked on each side by glazing bar sashes. Two glazing bar sashes above. Former outbuildings, left to right. C20 segmental carriage arch with stone voussoirs. Single light window above with stone surround. Similar carriage arch with window above with chamfered surround, formerly with a mullion. To the right, a window with recessed and chamfered surround with similar above, both originally with central mullion. Doorway with chamfered stone surround and Cl9 plank door, with 2-light recessed and chamfered mullion window above.
