SK 08 NW PARISH OF HAYFIELD GLOSSOP ROAD I/II8 (East Side) Throstle Farmhouse II
Farmhouse. Early CI9. Rendered stone, painted, with rusticated quoins. Painted gritstone dressings. Stone slate roof. Stone gable end stacks with decorative bands. Flat eaves band. Two storeys, double fronted, three bays. North elevation - semi-circular headed doorcase with moulded imposts and keystone. Flush jambs. Ornately panelled door. Plain fanlight over. To either side glazing bar sash with plain surround. Three similar windows over
