SK 08 NW PARISH OF HAYFIELD LAND HEAD ROAD I/I39 (North Side) Matleymoor Farmhouse II
Farmhouse. CI7 with CI9 addition. Coursed gritstone rubble, gritstone dressings and quoins. Slate roof. Stone gable end and off-centre ridge stacks. Two storeys, three bays. South elevation - off-centre C20 stone glazed porch, covering original door. To east CI9 bay with C20 window. To west four-light recessed and chamfered mullion window and a three light similar window, both with modern casements. Above two three- light recessed and chamfered mullion windows. To east in CI9 part another C20 window. To rear one blocked two-light recesssed and chamfered mullion window.
