Description
'SK 08 SE TOWN OF CHAPEL-EN-LE-FRITH RUSHUP LANE 4/56 (East Side) Rushup Hall II
House. Early C19. Coursed squared gritstone. Ashlar dressings and rusticated quoins. Hipped stone slate roof with stone ridges. Stone side wall stacks with banded ashlar tops. Moulded corbels below eaves. Shallow plinth, Three storeys, double fronted, three bay elevation. Central doorcase with flush surround, bracketed stone cornice over. C20 glazed door. To either side, glazing bar sashes with flush surrounds. Above, plain cill-board under three similar glazing bar sashes. Over, three similar, but smaller, sashes with plain cill-board below. To rear, recessed central section with flush mullioned windows to north elevation. Interior has balustered dog-leg staircase. Panelled shutters to all windows.
