Description
Cottage, formerly toll bar cottage. c1830s. Coursed squared gritstone. Gritstone ashlar dressings. Stone slate roof. Stone coped gables with moulded kneelers. Two central diamond sectioned ridge stacks. Single storey. South elevation - central door with four centred arch. Moulded hoodmould with return stops over. Studded wooden door. To either side, single lancet windows with square hoodmould over with return stops. To west gable wall, 3-light chamfered mullion window, pointed heads to lights, flat hoodmould over with return stops.
