SK 08 SW PARISH OF CHINLEY, BUXWORTH AND BROWNSIDE HAYFIELD ROAD 3/83 (East Side) Chinley Head Farmhouse II
House. CI7 with C20 alterations. Coursed gritstone rubble with large quoins. Gritstone dressings. Stone slate roof. Stone gable end and ridge stacks. Two storeys, T-plan. East elevation - projecting off-centre two storey bay with central chamfered quoined doorcase. C20 studded woooden door. To north C20 casement window with CI7 lintel over. To south two C20 casements, that furthest to south with CI7 recessed and chamfered surround with dripmould over. Inserted door beyond. Above C20 window over door in projecting bay. C20 casements in CI7 recessed and chamfered surrounds over three windows below.
