SK 18 SE PARISH OF CASTLETON CASTLETON ROAD 7/32 (North Side) Stableblock at Loosehill Hall. GV II
Stableblock now residential. Coursed squared limestone with gritstone dressings. Welsh slate roof with moulded stone coped gables with plain kneelers. Central tower with hipped slate roof and castellated parapet. One stone ridge stack. Single storey with attics and two storey tower. South elevation of seven bays. Central carriageway with Gothic arch and three tall arrow slit openings above. To the right, three windows, the outer ones with transoms, the inner one is modern. Gabled through eaves dormer above,flanked by modern dormers. Similar windows to left without the modern one on the ground floor. Listed for group value only.
