Description

'SK 08 NW HAYFIELD GLOSSOP ROAD,Little Hayfield 1/10000 Hay Barn to westof Marl House GV II Hay barn. c1820. Coursed gritstone rubble. Stone slate roof. Single storey. 7 bay. The north and south gable walls have 3 vertical rows of ventilation breathers. Later single storey lean- to addition to north. The east and west fronts each have a single row of 6 square Doric columns. The southern bays have low single storey stone infill, and the remaining bays have low single storey C20 infill. King post, diagonal brace roof trusses, some replaced. Listing NGR: SK0327288775.'
