NEW MILLS CHAPEL STREET 1. 5172 (North Side) SK 08 NW 4/65 Anderton House II GV 2. Dated H (over) I E 1797. House of 2 storeys in coursed stone, reroofed with stacks at gable ends. 3 windows, stone lintels with slight arches, keystones, modern glazing. Wood eaves cornice. Door of 6 fielded panels with original knocker in doorway in stone with impost blocks and lintel with keystone, below datestone. Mullion windows of 3 lights to rear.
