Description
'WHALEY BRIDGE TAXAL ROAD 1. 5172 (West Side) Taxal Rectory SK 07 NW 4/26 II 2. Early C19 features, possibly earlier origins. 2 storeys in painted small coursed stone, 3 gables. 2 of the gables have 1 hung sash window each with glazing bars, the projecting left-hand gable having a 3-light window with modern lintel on both floors. Ground floor has a window of 3 lights, the outer lights narrower, hung sashes with glazing bars, wood mullions. Doorway with pilasters and narrow entablature, flanking lights to door.
