21.4.1967 Old Hall Farmhouse GV II
Farmhouse. c1600 or earlier. Roughcast rubble limestone with gritstone dressings, quoins, coped gables, moulded kneelers, sinqle intermediate stone ridge stack and stone slated roof. Irreqular L-plan. South elevation: two storeys, five bays with gabled crosswing to west end. Main range has stacked 5-light recessed chamfer mullioned windows with C20 casements, those to ground floor with hoodmoulds and stops. Off-centre doorway with chamfered quoined surround. Plain planked door with rectangular light,. East gable has stacked 5-light recessed chamfer mullioned windows beneath hoodmoulds with stops.
