Full Description

Stream/spring channelled through a stone-lined trough above the bridge, from there it is culverted into the canal, north of Gratton's Bridge. The spring may relate to the track which appears to have been a through route pre-dating the canal. The spring is marked as a well on the 1878 OS map. There are stone steps down into the trough. (1)
