Full Description

Fieldwalking in this area in April 1999 produced finds of pottery and flint. The former consisted of six sherds of Romano-British pottery, 42 sherds of medieval pottery and two sherds of post-medieval pottery, for one of which it was noted that it also 'could conceivably be a tessera'. Flint included a scraper, a blade core, a bladelet and three flakes. (1, 2)
