Milestone near Wigwell, B5035, Wirksworth, an early to mid-19th century structure.
Grade II listed milestone at Wigwell, of probable early 19th century date. The milestone has splayed sides, one of which is inscribed "TO / ALFRETON / 8 / MILES", the other "TO / ASHBOURNE / 11 / MILES / WIRKSWORTH / 1 /MILE". (1-3)
